Installation Guide
Before Leak SmartShield™ can be set up, your home needs to meet a few technical requirements. Check what’s needed below.
Requirements
Power
A standard 100-240V power outlet is required within 4.2m of the installation location. The device comes with an outdoor-rated power supply.
Plumbing
Must be installed on the main water line (up to 1 1/4″ diameter). Fits PEX, copper, and PVC. Requires a section of pipe accessible for the unit.
Connectivity
A reliable internet connection and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network are required at the installation point for real-time monitoring and remote shut-off.
